Eighteen years of showing up where the need is closest to home.

USC Foundation is a registered charitable trust that runs free legal aid and awareness camps, shelters and cares for abandoned elders, and steps in with relief and rebuilding support when disaster hits a community. Every program is run by local volunteers, and every rupee is logged.

Who we are

Three commitments guide every decision we make.

I. Vision

A region where justice reaches everyone

We work toward a future where no family is denied legal help, shelter, or basic dignity because they cannot afford it — until there is no more need left to answer.

II. Mission

Legal aid, shelter, and relief

Each year we run legal awareness camps and counselling for the underprivileged, house and feed abandoned elders, operate child day-care and family units, and respond when disaster hits a community.

III. Motto

Service without conditions

We help based on need alone — never on caste, creed, faith, or background. Anyone in genuine distress is family here.

Our story

Started on one street, still walking it

USC Foundation began as a handful of neighbors pooling grocery money for an elderly widow with nowhere to go, and helping a family navigate a legal dispute they couldn't afford a lawyer for. What started as two small acts of care grew into a registered trust running legal aid camps, elder and child care units, and disaster relief work across the region.

We still do the same basic thing we did on day one: show up where the need is, ask what's actually required, and stay long enough to see it through — whether that's a hot meal, a resolved land dispute, or a family back on its feet after a flood.

None of it happens without the people who live here. Local volunteers run our legal awareness camps, staff our care homes, and organise relief the moment a community needs it.

How we've grown

Formal registration

What began informally is registered as a charitable trust, opening the first elder shelter and running the first legal awareness camp.

Today

Three programs, one region

Elder & child care, legal aid, and disaster relief run year-round, led by local volunteers who know the communities they serve.
